After computers were analyzed and invented in increasing convenience and accessibility, keyboards were invented to allow people to type with much more ease and speed.

Because when you use a typewriter if you make a mistake you either have to corss out the mistake (which looks unprofessional) or start the page again (which takes a lot of time). People wanted a way to type without having to worry about their mistakes (which they could just delete).

It also made it possible for people to save their work and go back and change parts without having to rewrite the entire thing. Saving work also had the other advantage of allowing people to share their work easier and even print it at a later date (whereas a typewriter would type directly onto the paper a computer could put the work onto paper when the writer wanted it to).
