How did the U.S. prepare for world war 1 in mobilization, industires, and food supply

It was George C. Marshell. He was a General and political figure in World War 2.
No, The war actually brought the United States out of the Great Depression. Increased war production and mobilization of the entire country saw our industrial output skyrocket.
Immediate mobilization, a declaration of war, and industrial change to war production.
They congress did mobilization anything from Propaganda, rationing food, selling peoples liberty bonds, having the War Industry Board, and National War Labor Board.
no 4 things
Of course they did. The entire "free" world benefited from the industrial mobilization of the US during the War. Trade with Canada improved, and with the post-WWII housing boom we bought many things from Canada including machinery and, most visibly, timber to frame all of the new houses with. This is a very simplistic answer so I suggest that you look further into Canada's history. By the way, during the War Canada supplied the US with war material.
Because, due to the Cold War, the US Military Reserves could not be called up; as they had been during WW2. The "call-up" of reserves during the Cold War, was an indication of "Preparing for Mobilization"; which was being monitored by the Soviet/Red Chinese Intelligence Agencies. As was our monitoring of their "mobilization status." The mobilization of military reserves would have indicated to the communists that the United States was up-grading it's military defense posture. Which would have caused the communists to "up the ante" by mobilizing their military forces. Translation: The Cold War might be getting Warmer. Hot would be a shooting war. Therefore, in order to keep things quiet around the world, the US chose to fight the Vietnam War with DRAFTEES (Conscripts). 40,000 men a month by 1968! This resulted in Anti-War/Anti-Draft protests and riots during the 1960's.
If the US declared war on another nation, it would imply a war to win total victory, which in turn implied using any weapon or means necessary to accomplish that goal (within the rules of war).
George Creel was in charge of the Committee on Public Information. It was create to distribute propaganda throughout the US that encouraged Anti-German sentiment.
