A wild horse is merely a decendant of a horse that has gotten loose or has gotten loose and has become feral. A quarter horse is a breed of horse that is used in rodeos, ranches, and are ridden western. hope it helps. :)
Wild horses are found all over the world. However, most feral horses are actually decendents of domesticated horses that escaped in the past. The only truly wild horse is the Przewalski's Horse, which can be found in Mongolia. Other feral horses can be found in the mountains and plains of the western United States, on some islands of the eastern coast of Canada (Sable Island) and the United States (Assateague Island), and in Australia.
Mustang horses are not native to Alberta, Canada; they are wild horses that primarily roam the western United States. However, some mustangs may be found in Alberta if they are brought there through private ownership or adoption programs. In general, the environment and climate of Alberta are different from their natural habitats in the U.S. West. Therefore, while they can exist in Alberta, they are not wild populations in that region.
The original title Maurice Sendak had pitched for what would become Where The Wild Things Are was "Where The Wild Horses Are."
The only true wild horses left are the Przewalski's Horse in Mongolia. The mustangs of the American western states are really ferel 'domestic animals reverted to a wild state'.

When the Spanish came to the Western Hemisphere, they brought horses from the Spanish Province of Andalusia with them. Some of these horses became feral and then became wild. They became the ancestors of the Mustangs of the western United States and the Florida Horses of the Everglades.
Well, If you mean, Where do Wild horses live, they mainly live in the Western Region. Or SOMETIMES the mid-western region. Wild horses are mostly just wild Mustangs, but others can be Przwalskes (I don't think I spelled it right) or spanish horses.
The Prezwolskis Horse of Mongolia and parts of China are pretty much the last real wild horses in the world. The Mustangs that roam the western United States are ferel horses. Meaning they were once domestic and reverted to the wild. There ae wild cousins, five different types of zebra.
Alaska and Northern & Western Canada.
