Why won't AVG let you download Maple Story?
Well for starts, if you have your firewall on then turn it off. Then if that does not work you have to uninstall AVG and install maple story. After that install AVG back on to your computer and let the fire wall allow maple story to be confirmed as a wanted program. Otherwise AVG will terminate Maple.

AVG updates are totally a waste of time because they only slow down ones computer. The AVG updates are best to be avoided and turned off immediately when installed on ones computer.

In my opinion AVG Antivirus, i am not sure if they free version comes with the firewall or not, but either way its is a great antivirus and firewall combination.
How did my firewall get turned off when I didn't do that?
Being a computer novice, and not being a professional, this answer will be purely from a laymans standpoint. I have a Microsoft operating system and use Norton-Symantec Internet Security Suite for my security. I have noticed what appears to me that when I get a Microsoft Update that parts of my Norton softeware have been turned OFF. I have to assume that Bill Gates and his crew are responsible for this. If my suspicions are correct, it is possible that this is how your firewall is being turned off.
