one of the most simplest ways is to purchace a bypass kit that you would use for a remote starter
1998 Explorer uses a PATS II system with a transponder in the keyhead.
Yes it does come with Pats. I am having issues with pats right now. My car will not start.
Are you talking about PATS (passive anti theft system) that uses a special key to start the vehicle? if so email me your vehicle make, model and year and I will help you danny20076@gmail dot com
Yes, but not easily. The PCM will need to be changed and the engine harness may be different. If you have a OBDII port under the dash, it won't be too had. HUGE difference in power, well worth the work if you are considering the upgrade. The biggest problem is the PATS key, your old system (in the colum) won't interface, you will have to get a custom tune to bypass the PATS, upgrade the colum or bypass the PATS with a good transponder taped in the colum.
Yes they are because the Pats are 1 out of the 2 teams with undefeated seasons(Miami Dolphins are the 2nd.)The Pats did it in 2007 & made it to the Super Bowl but lost to the Giants. The Packers might go 16-0 this season but the Pats might do it again next year!
