Igloo
According to experts, most Eskimos dwell in snow-shaped domes in the Arctic called igloos. Contrary to its appearance, the igloos keep Eskimos warm and comfortable inside.
Out on the tundra, during the winter season (most of the year) there's pretty much just snow, snow, and more snow. There are no trees, bushes or other materials to build a house from, so the Inuit invented igloos. They invented them because they were resourceful (not so much that they had a choice).
