The Royal Mint will not accept demonetised coins after the notification period has expired following the withdrawal of the coins.

Some banks may exchange decimal coins for a brief period after withdrawal on a one for one basis if you are an account holding customer, but they are under no obligation to do so.

You are pretty much stuck with them. Keep them for your grand children.

What did Elizabeth 1980 coins look like and are they worth anything?

All British Elizabeth II decimal coins look pretty much the same from 1968 to 1982. The larger 5, 10 and 50 Pence coins are no longer in circulation and have been demonetised. They have little or no value. The Half New Penny coins are no longer in circulation and have been demonetised. They have little or no value. Apart from those coins, most British decimal coins are still potentially in circulation so, unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they are worth whatever is inscribed on them. See the link below to the Royal Mint for images of British decimal coins.

What is a circulating decimal?

I do not believe there is a finite lifespan for Australian coins. They stay in circulation until they are damaged or too worn to be identified easily. There are still many of the first issue of Australian 1966 decimal coins in circulation.

Are 1969 50 pence coins made from silver?

No. The last British general circulation coin to contain any silver was in 1946. All British "silver" coins are made from a copper nickel alloy giving them a silvery appearance. Some Proof coins may be made from sterling silver, but that will be indicated on the packaging they are bought in.

What is the value of Australian 1 cent coin?

These coins are no longer in circulation, but unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they are worth 1 cent. The last Australian 1 cent coins were put into general circulation in 1990 and are now, no longer in circulation. There were "Mint Packs" released in 1991 for collectors.

The third portrait by Raphael Maklouf appears on decimal coins from 1985 to 1998 inclusive. The fourth portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley appears on decimal coins from 1999 to present day.

What are London 1991 Queen Elizabeth coins worth?

Assuming that you refer to British coins, the 1991 5, 10 and 50 Pence coins are no longer in circulation and have little or no value. The 1, 2 and 20 Pence coins and the One Pound coins are still in circulation and are worth those amounts respectively.

Are English pence obsolete?

All predecimal British coins have long since been withdrawn from circulation and demonetised. The decimal Half (New) Penny was demonetised in 1984. The larger pre-1990 5 Pence coins were withdrawn from circulation and demonetised in 1991. The larger pre-1991 10 Pence coins were withdrawn from circulation and demonetised in 1993. The larger pre-1997 50 Pence coins were withdrawn from circulation and demonetised in 1998. All other British "Pence" coins are still legal tender.
