The voltage regulator is built into the alternator.
The 1998 Chevrolet Astro Van voltage regulator is part of the alternator. The voltage regulator cannot be individually changed. You will need to change the entire alternator.
Could YOU tell me where the fuel pressure regulator is on a 95 astro van
how are you
inside of alter
the voltage regulator is built into the alternator, check voltage at battery connections should be 14.5 volts
In the throttle body.
I believe it is integral to the alternator... i.e. if the voltage regulator dies you need to buy a new alternator
Inside the alternator itself
howdo youadjust fuelpressure regulator on a chevy astro van 1985. The fuel pressure regulator is built into the throttle body. It is not adjustable. There were throttle body injection rebuild kits available but being that old now they may not be available anymore. Try your local auto parts store.

it is part of the fuel injector which is under the upper intake manifold

Plug wires are installed incorrectly.
This is a complicated task. My friend who is auto-friendly ended up taking his van to a mechanic to replace both the driver and passenger window regulators. The astro van is notorious for this kind of repair. It cost him $400.00 including tax for each regulator. The regulator itself is about $200.00- $250.00. I am going to have a look at my own van as my passenger window will not operate at all. Will let you know what kind of luck I have if any.
its a very good idea
Yes, while you are changing, check the distributor gear for wear, common issue.
