I presume you know that wood rots and the ship would have been broken up ages ago. I think you may be interested to know that a piece of her survives in the Museum of the City of New York, namely, the figurehead. Photos easy to find online. My ancestors came over on her in 1842, from LeHavre to New York. She was built in an East River shipyard in 1831 for owners Capt. Elnathan Hawkins, John and Benj. Aymar, and sailed as a trans-atlantic packet ship. Ownership went to Wm Whitlock and Chas. Crawford by 1844, and later passed to Wm. Sale, Isaac Moses, and Wm. Halsey (1851). Last NY registry that I am aware of was Nov. 1855 with J.B. Sardy and S.S. Gordon listed as owners. She was 468.13 tons, 126.2' in length, and 28.7' in beam, and was square-rigged with two decks. A painted image of her and another packet ship are in the C. H. Taylor Collection of the Peabody Museum in Salem, MA.
