Same issue in my 01 Firebird. Its your temp sensor's, either the one under the throttle body or the other on the drivers side head, located between the #1 and #3 cylinder. It was difficult to find on my bird, but it was there both parts are fairly cheap 10-20$, but do this with a cold engine or your fluid will burn you.
