ETS is connected to your ABS. ETS is a traction control and is linked to your ABS so to get your ETS light off you'll probably have to fix your ABS to get the light off. On mine, fixing a broken wire on my ABS plug which runs into the hub fixed my problem.
i have a 2001 pontiac sunfire antitheft problem will not start anttheft light flashs on dash i can turn motor over buy jump starter but will not start
headlights and dash lights in 2001 sunfire wont turn on.
To change the license plate light on a Pontiac Sunfire, first remove the cover over the bulb with a small screwdriver. Gently push on the bulb and turn 1/4 turn to remove the old bulb. Insert the new bulb and snap in the cover.
Fill your coolant reservoir and the light should turn off. Do it soon or your engine may over heat.
I think I'd replace the turn signal flasher. It's just a little bi-metal switch and can go bad easily.
under the dash
Yes it will.
you did not turn the switch off they are not automatic
etc button on left of dash driverside Depends on year of car - I've also seen it on the gear shifter.
You can access the backup light on your Pontiac from the trunk compartment. Remove the backup light cover. Take hold of the backup light connector, push in and turn at the same time. Do the same with the backup lightbulb. Reverse the process to install the new lightbulb.
On my 98 sunfire, the tail lights and marker lights only work if you turn on the headlights. If only the daytime lights are on, the Pontiac on the trunk is illuminated but no other lights at the rear until brakes or turn signals are activated. This is common with a lot of vehicles out there. Daytime running lights are not necessarily the same candle power as the headlights. I can tell a big difference in mine.
I have a 1999 Sunfire and I have problems with the theft system too. Sometimes, I am able to pull the fuses and put them back and it'll start. Other times, I have to just sit and wait (for about 8 minutes) and then it'll start.
