To defeat the Titan Dweevil, you must first disable all four of its weapons. Each one corresponds to a different hazard: fire, water, electricity, and poison. You must throw Pikmin onto each weapon and have them attack it until it falls off; after it separates from the Titan Dweevil, it cannot reattach the weapon. It can only attack with one weapon at a time, and will change color immediately before it attacks to signify which weapon it will use: red for fire, blue for water, yellow for electricity, and purple for poison. Once you remove all four weapons, the Titan Dweevil will be left powerless to do anything but throw off your Pikmin.
I highly recommend that you disable the water weapon first; contrary to the other three weapons, which don't reach outside the small arena where the Titan Dweevil stands, the water weapon's range covers the entire floor. There is NO safe place for Pikmin that aren't blue.

By pressing "Y" after the ship has established communications with Louie, you will be able to control him. He is originally located on the opposite side of the land. Simply walk him over towards Olimar if you wish to reunite them. The second time, after you pay off Hocotate Freight's debt, Louie can be found at the bottom of the Dream Den, a very challenging cavern located at the far side of the Wistful Wild. It is best to bring every color of Pikmin into this cave. The "final boss," as you can complete the caves in any order, is located in the Dream Den. Louie is being controlled by a large spider, and will be saved after you defeat it.

The water wraith is a boss in Pikmin 2. He does not appear in the first game at all. He is an extra dimensional creature who will try to kill your pikmin by rolling over them. I recommend searching a picture. In the main story he can be found in the Submerged Castle. He will spawn in the submerged castle on every floor after 5 min. has passed (I think.) He can not be attacked without throwing a Purple pikmin on his back. This will make him take a physical form. Otherwise, he is invincible. The problem is, the submerged castle's entrance is submerged in water so you can't take in Purple pikmin. So if he shows up, you are out of luck. On the final floor, you get Purple pikmin via. candypop bud. Then you can kill it. In challenge mode, 2 of them will appear in the bully den when the clock reaches 270. This time, you are given 25 purple.

How can you beat the Titan Dweevil in pikmin 2? Well you go down the Dream Den with 100 yellow pikmin, ignoring all treasures and going to Sublevel 14. There are 4 weapons, Comedy Bomb, Flare Cannon, Hydro Pump and the Shock Therapist. The Hydro Pump squirts huge balls of water all over the place so you should destroy that first. Comedy Bomb spreads gas in the arena. Flare Cannon blows fire in the arena ( line of fire) Shock therapist send round electric nodes but all 100 yellow pikmin are immune to that so you should destroy this last. When all the weapons are knocked off the Titan dweevil is harmless so you can destroy it.( If you want sprays destroy with ultra bitter sprays when its harmless)
