Well it is quite difficult to tell because at three weeks pregnant, there is not even an embryo. This is just a cluster of hundreds of microscopic cells at this point. Doctors consider your first week of pregnancy to be the week of your period, the second week to be the week of your ovulation, the third week to be conception and the fourth the actual beginning of development of a fetus. You are not even going to be expecting your "missed" period by week 3 most likely.

You cannot miscarry at 3 weeks as you would not even know you are pregnant. If you miscarried 3 weeks after conception that is 5 weeks pregnant not 3 weeks.

If you are 7 weeks from your last period, you are seven weeks pregnant, 3 weeks pregnant is before you miss a period and you would not have a scan then. If you are seven weeks and there is no sign of a fetal pole it appears that the embryo may not have developed and you will miscarry soon, I am sorry.
