all you have to do is go the court where the trial took place and request a transcript from the clerk of courts. They may require a small charge per page for printing this out for you.
I am trying to obtain the transcript of a trial just concluded and have been informed that I could have it after I wrote them a check for $11,500.00. I was only requesting a digital copy not a printed version. Is there a way I can acquire it without such an enormous expenditure?

∙ 16y agoSimply contact the court clerk and tell him or her that you want to order a transcript. Typically, you will have to fill out a form committing to pay for the transcript. It is also possible that you may have to order an audio or video recording which you can then take to the court reporter of your choice to have transcribed. Fees for such transcription run $3 per page and up, depending on your location in the United States.
