If your fuel door isn't opening, try having someone pull on the fuel door release while you manually tug on the fuel door (use a popsicle stick or something to pry it open gently). This trick should get the fuel door open.

There is a metal spring inside the fuel door that gets weak, and won't let the door pop open. Grab this metal spring clip and bend it outward to give it more springiness. Your problem should be solved!
