To properly season and maintain a cast iron griddle, follow these tips: Before first use, wash the griddle with hot water and dry it completely. Apply a thin layer of oil to the griddle's surface and bake it in the oven at a high temperature. After each use, clean the griddle with hot water and a soft brush, avoiding soap. Dry the griddle thoroughly and apply a thin layer of oil to prevent rust. Store the griddle in a dry place to maintain its seasoning.
