are you talking airbag suspension or airbag for safety? if your talking about the first of the two, you need to get yourself a welder and some practice welding. You'll probably want to get some iron stock and make brackets for the airbags to mount to, just weld the brackets to the chassis instead of welding the airbags on direct. makes it a lot easier when replacement time comes along. you'll want a belt driven air compressor and a small to mid size tank for fast fill ups. I recommend the firestone airbags they work great. You'll also need all the air lines and valve relays. it adds up pretty quick but it can all be had for $1200 shopping around doing it yourself in a weekend. now if your talking about the later of the two, putting airbags in a non-airbag equipped vehicle can be an aggrivating job. You'll need a new steering wheel with an airbag of course, you'll need the airbag module and the pressure sensors that connect to the front bumper. IF your model year was available with airbags as an added feature than the wires should all be preran. If not, you'll need to run all the wires yourself and get a second airbag for testing purposes. if you have an srs or airbag light in your gauge cluster then all you usually need to do is put the bulb in, if not you'll want to get a light to let you know if your airbag system is malfunctioning. the junkyard is your best option as for cost and fitment. All new parts would probably put the cost to benefit ratio out of question. make sure whenever you serive the air bags that you disconnect the battery and let the vehicle sit for at minimum 5 minutes for the air bag battery to discharge. hope this helps decipha@murdacapital.com
