you cant put a mswmm video on YouTube. it means that it's still in progress and it's not finished. what you have to do, is instead of clicking "save", click file, and then click publish. it'll open another window, and then click publish to computer. click next until it starts to upload. when it's done, go to youtube, sign in, click upload, then look for the video you published. (it's published in your video folder)
You can't convert it back into a .MSWMM, but you can import the .wmv file back into Windows Movie Maker and edit it again in a new project.
Yes. You don't have to download anything to convert the MSWMM file into a Standard viewing format. What you have to do though... is Publish/Finish the video to your computer first. This process mixes down the video and audio properties of the project file and converts it to a standard format.Once you have Published/Finished the video, you will be able to upload it to YouTube.
It is impossible to change a .MSWMM file into any other format.A MSWMM (Microsoft Windows Movie Maker) file can only be viewed/edited in the Windows Movie Maker. In other words, a MSWMM file is a project format specific to the program. To change a MSWMM file into a Standard viewing format (file name extension), simply Publish/Finish the video project. This process mixes-down (exports) the MSWMM format into a Standard viewing format.Once the file is Published/Finished, it can then be converted to a dvr-ms file name extension (or other format) if desired.
YouTube does not accept Windows Movie Maker Project files (MSWMM). You have to Publish or Finish your video in Windows Movie Maker first. This process changes the project file into a Standard viewing format that can easily be uploaded to YouTube.Just remember... Publish or Finish the video before burning, uploading or emailing.
You can only play a .MSWMM (MicroSoft Windows Movie Maker) project in the Windows Movie Maker program.Until you Publish or Finish the .MSWMM project it cannot be viewed in a media player, emailed, uploaded or burned to CD or DVD. The only way to view or edit the file is in the program.
To change the video from a project file (MSWMM) to a Standard viewing format such as .wmv in Windows Live Movie Maker, you simply have to Publish it.
The only way to change a Windows Movie Maker project file (with the file name extension of MSWMM) is to Publish/Finish the video in the program first.Publishing/Finishing the project exports video and audio properties, automatically converting them to a Standard Viewing Format (such as .wmv), which is an acceptable format for uploading onto Photobucket, YouTube, etc.
NO. The only program that can open a MSWMM (Microsoft Windows Movie Maker) file is the Windows Movie Maker program. A MSWMM file name extension means the file is still in project form. Until the MSWMM file is exported/published/finished in a Standard viewing format, it can't be read, edited, emailed, uploaded or burned to CD/DVD.
If the pictures were in a Windows Movie Maker project (MSWMM) you will not be able to retrieve them because a .MSWMM file needs access to the Original Source Files.Since the project was sent via email, the Original Source Files (from the computer the project was designed on) are not available.Even if the computer the emailed MSWMM file was sent to has a Windows Movie Maker program to open the file, nothing will appear since NONE of the original source files used to create it can be located.Just remember... to send a Windows Movie Maker video via email, make sure it has been Published/Finished first.
You cannot convert Windows Movie Maker (.MSWMM) files at all since they are in 'project' form. The only way to change a MSWMM to a standard format is through the Publishing/Finishing/Saving process.
You can't just Save the project... You have to Publish/Finish your project in Windows Movie Maker first to convert it into Standard Viewing Format. And too, YouTube accepts the .wmv file name extension (format) produced from Publishing/Finishing in Windows Movie Maker as well. The reason I know that is because all my YouTube videos are in .wmv format. To help you understand better, just remember this:A project created (and saved as a project) in Windows Movie Maker is in MSWMM format, which is not a Standard Viewing format. In other words, no other program can open the file; you can't email it, view it in a player, burn it to CD/DVD; nor can you upload it anywhere.Always Publish/Finish your MSWMM project file if you want it in Standard Viewing Format. Once it is Published/Finished, you can do whatever you like with it.
