Obtain a blank DVD and load it ont your computers DVD writer. Open windows file manager and copy the files from your desktop to the DVD.

First you would need to install the program. Pop the software CD or DVD into the DVD drive and it should automatically start to install itself. If not, double click on the CD or DVD drive shortcut on your desktop and select 'autoplay'. If there is no shortcut to the drive on your desktop, go to 'My Computer' to access the CD or DVD drive. Assuming the program installs properly, it will put a shortcut on your desktop and/or your taskbar. Click this shortcut to launch your software.

Put the disc in the computer with the small triangle going in tip-first on top. Go to your Desktop by minimizing all windows. Double click "My Computer" on the desktop. The floppy disc is the A: drive. So double click on "A:" or "A: 3 1/2 inch floppy", whichever it shows. Well, If you use a Macintosh it will show up on the desktop. If you are using a Windows based PC you can always find your DVD drive in "My Computer" (XP) or "Computer" (Vista)... If you enable "AutoRun" you should get a dialog box asking what you want to do each time you insert a disc (XP / Vista).
You can certainly put a link to the web-site on your desktop... Click the web-link at the top of the screen - then drag & drop it to your desktop.
