Use a dilute solution of muratic acid. You can buy this at the hardware store or Walmart. Wear gloves, don't breathe the vapors, use eye protection and use a plastic bristle brush, like a toliet brush. It's hydrocloric acid and will eat metal and cloth. Be careful with this stuff.
