I have downloaded iMesh before on my Dell computer and everything was fine except for Internet weight-loosing icons popping up whenever my computer started up. You automatically install these web-pop-up controls when downloading iMesh. iMesh is just a file-sharing site, whenever somebody puts a file on the internet for example, on LimeWire, iMesh etc all that persons computers viruses and problems are included in the file you are trying to share.

Assuming you're using Windows 7... Go to the control panel, and select 'Programs and features'. Select the imesh program on the list, then choose Un-install. Once the program has been removed, delete the folder from the 'All Programs' menu (if it's still there), then re-boot your computer to remove all traces from the registry.
Is IMESH a hack?
Unfortunately iMesh contains MANY Viruses that can hack into your computer and steal your identity so I would advise if you have to use it scan it with the most appropriate software (ie. Pay Yearly, Monthly BullGuard) or DO NOT use it at all. I downloaded iMesh when I first got my iPod, it was a stupid thing because I had to go and Restore my Computer to factory settings. Is using imesh safe?
In my opinion, no, it is not safe. let me tell you, it almost jacked up my mp3. at first, i was happy with it, but then when i tried charging my mp3 a few days after i installed imesh, my mp3 would charge and then shut off when i opened up imesh. it kept doing this. so i restarted my computer, and i tried charging it AGAIN. it worked without imesh! then just to test it out, i opened up imesh. immediately, my mp3--which had registered to imesh--started to go wacky again: charging for a minute, then shutting off, and then charging all over again. so i uninstalled imesh immediately. plus before i installed imesh, norton scanned my computer and few viruses were detected. then i installed imesh, and norton found about a thousand viruses. its like limewire (which caused for my computer to have a virus) so im just telling you that you shouldn't use it.
