It is inserted into the passenger side valve cover. It has a "thumb sized" rubber hose connected to it.
more than likely on the rear side of the passenger valve cover.
There should be a cap on the drivers side valve cover. If not, remove the breather tube and use a funnel at the passenger side valve cover.
Messy job, On the driver side you need to remove air intake assy and throttle assy to be able to remove the valve cover. On the passenger side, you have to remove the air intake plenum to get to the valve cover. Time consuming... but not impossible.
I believe it is located on the passenger side valve cover. You will have to remove the air surge tank to access it.
There are 8 bolts that hold it on. First remove the cover to the coil packs, Then the coil packs then the vallve cover,
CAUTION: Some models are equipped with anti-theft-radio make sure you have the activation code before disconnecting battery * Disconnect negative battery cable * Detach the accelerator cable from the cable guides on the valve cover (It's not necessary to remove the cable guides unless you're replacing the valve cover) * Disconnect the PCV and breather hoses from the valve cover * Remove the spark plug wire cover bolts remove the cover and then remove the spark plug wires * Remove the bolts that attach the upper timing belt cover to the valve cover * Remove the valve cover bolts and then remove the valve cover

If you are facing the car it is on the left (passenger) side of the valve cover. You won't be able to actually see it. You have to remove a plastic cover (it just unscrews) and then you can pull it right out.
