That would depend on what's wrong with it.
If one window isn't getting power (but others are) you can discount fuse or relay issues and just focus on that one window. If none of the windows work then chances are pretty good it's simply a bad fuse. Other electrical issues could range from a faulty switch to a burned out motor.
If the problem is mechanical it's probably simpler to troubleshoot. Just remove the door (or side if it's the rear window) panel to see if the glass has slipped out of the carrier or something has come loose.
Bottom line, identify the problem then use a logical process to troubleshoot and repair.
