You don't repair transmission slippage. Transmission slippage is usually caused to damage with the transmission, usually with wear and tear of continual automatic changing in the gears. Transmission repair is not typical so transmission replacment it the alternative means. And it is said to be costly. Be prepaired for that. You can try to use alternative means to stabalize and reduce the transmission slipping, but that would be temporary. There are synthetic fluids to place in the transmission which does one of two things; 1. Breaks down the Transmission Fluid to remove build up and grit which might have built up and congested the transmission gears needed to shift or 2. create traction by coagulating the transmission fluid in order to help re-enfforce more traction with gear shifting. Recommendations: Do not change transmission fluid and transmission filter, for the fluid in the transmission should be thick and gritty, at this point, and should be more than enough to create traction with helping the shift changes in your car. Change your gears to drive on "1" or "2", instead of regular "D." In doing so, your transmission will shift at different intervals, letting you drive better with less slippage. But remember, in driving on "1" or "2", you will waste more gas and your regular automatic shifts when in "D" will alter shifting later than usual, which will also cause a slower take off and a more sudden stop.
