P1492 Battery Temperature Sensor Voltage Too High Test and/or replace the battery temp sensor. It is usually located under or near the battery.
Because you didn't charge the battery.
Charge it, test it, replace it.

Try This If it's stuck in defrost your battery died and messed up the computer. Disconnect battery for 5 or more min. It worked on my 96
Remove the positive battery cable from your 2001 Chrysler Sebring battery. Remove the cables from the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new starter.

Remove driver side front tire. Remove inner fender liner. Remove battery. Reverse steps.
Take out the battery, unbolt and remove the battery tray. This will expose where the ground is. Unbolt that. Replace in reverse order of the above steps.
Unfortunately, you have to remove the wheel to access the battery.
To replace the transmission solenoid pack on a 1998 Chrysler Sebring, remove the air filter box, the battery, and the battery tray. Remove the 4 bolts on the frame and the trans cooler lines. The solenoid pack is screwed to the to the transmission with 3 10 mm bolts. Remove the solenoid pack and replace it.?æ
In front of the drivers side front wheel. The left front wheel and the front portion of the plastic inner fender needs to be removed to gain access to the battery.
