First disconnect the negative battery cable on the battery. Now your ready to remove the starter. It has two connections one has nut holding the primary wiring, remove it and should be one other either slide on connection or very small nut holding the other hook up(can't recall without checking my ride). There are 3 bolts that hold it in place just remove them two are mounted from the transmission side meaning the bolt heads are against the transmission one under the starter itself.Remove starter and reinstall make sure it sits flush against the transmission and run all three bolts in enough to hold it while you hold the starter upright in place then tighten and reconnect the wiring and note take a pic of the wiring if you think you might hook them up wrong before you disconnect them before removing the old starter.Just for reference and then hook the battery cable back to the battery.Check to see the vehicle starts.I would highly suggest buying a haynes or chiltons manual cost around 20.00-25 dollars on average. This job takes less than 30 minutes. You may want to put the truck on jack stands for more room if you need it,but normally there is alot of ground clearance.Hope this helps.

The starter on a Mazda mph is on the left side of the engine. It is at the rear, against the bell housing.
Usually it's attached to the starter. Imagine two cans of beer, a 16oz and a 12oz, tape them together and you got the starter and starter solenoid. If someone told you to replace that, you should replace the starter because they cost just about the same.
replace it
This truck uses three different engines, all with slightly different starter mounting. All starter replacements are pretty similar though. Most importantly you must first disconnect the negative battery cable. Raise and support the vehicle. From under the vehicle remove the large and small power wires to the starter. Remove the starter mounting bolts Remove the starter. Reverse procedure for installation.
A 93 GM truck? Yes. Replace the starter every four years as part of regular maintenance.
you dont. They are not replaceable. Sell the truck
The starter solenoid is the small bump or cylinder attached to the actual starter motor body. It will be the part with all the wiring connections.
