I don't think I would tell my daughter that. Because, for one, she probably already realizes it, and secondly, she may already feel like it's something she's done to make him abandon her. I would, instead, do everything I could to make her feel loved and to provide her with opportunities to be around good, loving, stable men who will influence her in a healthy way. If she comes right out and asks why her father left, however, you could gently explain to her that he was a weak man and that he couldn't handle being a parent. you dont want to hurt her but when her daddy does come into her life he will half to explain and if he dont one day she will see him and he will half to explain to her
