They were both Americans, born in America. They were born within three years of each other. They both wrote Pamphlets, articles, and essays. I am actually writing an essay on the similarities and differences between these two men, and there are many differences as well as similarities: Parents had very different occupations, one a soapmaker, the other a preacher. They themselves led totally different lives: Jonathan, a preacher and missionary, Benjamin, a scientist and Founding Father of America.

∙ 14y agoThey don't. Jonathan Edwards was a Christian missionary to the Native Americans. He didn't kill (or arrange for the killing of) millions of people, like Hitler did.
They both convinced their people to see their way and succeeded.
