If you are looking for luxury resorts on the Mexican Riviera, I would look at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallerta. I took a family vacation to these cities a couple years ago and had a blast. We spent a day at a beach front resort in Mazatlan. The resort had a great view, all the amenities, and great food. These cities are definitely resort cities, with shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. They also offer a sneak peek into the Mexican culture and history.
