we believe thaet there are angels but we don't believe in ghosts.
This is not true, the Church holds no position on Hauntings and we certainly do believe in ghosts, from the standpoint of the Spirit of a person separates from the body at death and goes to the spirit world, HOWEVER the spirit world itself exists here on earth yet presumably in another dimension and so for there to be shall we say encounters between those worlds is not withouth possibility.
We also believe in the actual existence of demonic spirits, though it is not a factor in the teachings of the church specifically, other than such things as Joseph Smith was nearly overcome by an attack of a demonic spirit, but prayed for deliverance and was saved.
