"Sin" is not a Buddhist concept. Sin, to a Christian or similar, is to act contrary to the rules of a god usually set down in a sacred book or spouted by a hooligan. Buddhism has no god to set down such rules, no holy book filled with such rules and no holy men to enforce them. It is up to each individual to lead his life in reasonable compliance with the Eightfold Path, which is a set of suggestions for leading a more skillful life. Failure to do so does not condemn a person to hell but to another chance to do things better.
"Sin" is not a Buddhist concept. Sin implies a contravention of a divine law, Buddhism has no gods to pass down such rules. The closest you might get is, in the words used by the Dalai Lama, to be "unskillful" in running your life.
it all depends on your religion, if your a Buddhist, yes it is
It depends on your religion. If you are Buddhist or Atheist , then its not really a sin for you. Its not sin for the Islamic religion but you really shouldn't cheat though. But it is a sin if your Catholic or a Christian. I am a Catholic myself. Cheating and Stealing is wrong, therefore it is a sin.
For an atheist, there is no sin in having a Christian friend. Nor should it ever be regarded as a sin for a Christian to have an atheist friend, a Muslim friend or, for example, a Buddhist friend. Surely the greater sin is for anyone to imagine that it is a sin to have friends who do not happen to share the same beliefs.
Officialy Concilio Vaticano II Nostra aetate allows catholics to seek for peace and meditation in the buddhist tradition. In a more theological point of view it is not a sin since there are no gods or idols in Buddhism so it wouldn't anger G0d.
There is no baptism in Buddhism. The concepts of "original sin", a deity, an outside influence of deities or clergy to act on someone's behest, forgiveness, and the essential badness of people are all concepts missing from Buddhism that would imply a need for baptism.
