Using windows media player instead will not slow your computer down
First you have to rip the CD to your computer (use Windows Media Player for that). Once you have the CD music on your computer, Import it into Windows Movie Maker using the Import Media feature.

simply by installing the media files eg windows player, real player ,windvd, Nero etc...when your cd is in the compact it asks you where to open it with , then simply choose the media files ,
