Well for characters do the subspace emissary and complete it, then do classic with link and beat toon link and in the swamp in the emissary you can find a secret door and inside is jigglypuff beat it and now go to the ruins and when you get to the part where you Dodge crystals you will find a door soon go in now go in the same door and go in the door at the bottom of the stage in there is wolf beat him then guess what you have all the characters. To play with people get gamecube controllers or classic controllers or use wifi connection.
