Amphibians have several attributes for helping to survive the various dangers that come up when living. One of these is the ability for many amphibians, mostly frogs, to freeze themselves when it is cold outside and then thaw when it is warmer in order preserve energy.

Some use camouflage, others (Frogs) bulge their neck to appear bigger, some run, a not many fight, and many have defensive tactics. They can squirt out their own blood, others make noises to scare them away, and they try to hide.
