All plants generally carry out photosynthesis as the main source of energy and also they absorb minerals and nutrients from soil.
Animals that are herbivores feed on vegetation and such where carnivores and omnivores eat other animals as well
Producers (most plants): carry out photosynthesis(sunlight-water, oxygen- produce carbon dioxide and sugar)
Consumers (most animals): eat other organisms (living things; this can include eating plants and other producers)
Photosynthesis
Animals such as omnivores depend on plants 2 make food.
Green plants use a process called photosynthesis to make food from sunlight. Only green plants can make their own food. Other plants (like mushrooms) and animals do not make their own food, but get nutrition from green plants (or dead green plants). Animals do not make food from sunlight. If they could, they would not need to eat.
People are "animals". Animals can not make their own food they have to eat other animals and or plants to survive. Plants can make their own food (from air, water and sunlight) - they are the basis of all food - without plants there could be no animals.
-----ANIMALS-----
Animals do not have chlorophyll.
Its own food as plants do or eat food as animals do.
Plants make more of their own food but animals need more food. This is because the metabolic rate is higher in animals.
animals can't make their own food, plants and people can but animals can't
All animals need plants for survival because plants make food and oxygen. we all need oxygen to breathe and the plants I'm sure you know take the carbon dioxide in the air and make it into oxygen. and as for food some animals eat leaves and plants also make food like berries that we and animals eat too. :)
plants need to photosynthesis as this is how they make their food. animals do not as they get their food from other sources such as plants and other animals.
Animals have no source of energy to make food. Animals get energy from the food they eat. Plants have a way of capturing energy from sunlight which they then use to make carbohydrates
