All though some zoos bring sick or injured animals into their sanctuaries sounds good, it is sometimes not. In some zoos the animals are released when they are better but the forget some things. For example a turtle who got stuck in beer can rings was taken to a zoo and had to be in a wagon as it lost circulation in it's legs and is still living today however if it was not in captivity it most likely would have died of suffocation not long after.
