Archaeologists study the past by excavating and analyzing artifacts, structures, and other physical remains left behind by past civilizations. They use various scientific techniques, such as carbon dating and stratigraphy, to determine the age and context of their findings. Through these methods, archaeologists can reconstruct past societies, cultures, and historical events.
