Because of its permafrost, the plants in the tundra are very small. These include grass, mosses, and small shrubs and trees. The animals in the tundra includes artic fox, and polar bears.

Artic Fox it is forced top eat plant because of the low amount of carnivore it eat! :D
Some of these animals can be the Artic wolf or polr bear all they really eat is meat.

the tundra biome is important because it has animals like polar bears and artic fox and artic rabbits etc. but global warming is making the animals extinct because they can't cope with all the heat. also in the artic the ice caps are melting and the animals could drown if all the ice is gone. plus the tundra could make the animals safe, but if global warming still happens the animals might slowly dissappear!!!

it can get as as far as -347 degrees in the artic tundra but it canget as high as -3 -30 degrees in the artic tundra i think that it can be alot colder there! but it is always cold in the tundra!
do you mean caribou? then it does live in the tundra to be specific the artic tundra.
