Dung beetles collect the feces of of large herbivores including cows,goats,lamas,eliffants ,and(millions of years ago)dinosaurs, especially diplodocus and other souropods. They collect this so they can eat it. They also lay there eggs in it and the larvae eat it. I hope that helped
