Bunnies evolved in warmer climates and had to adapt to colder ones. They molt in the autumn and then grow a thick new coat for winter. They will put on extra fat and increase their food intake by as much as 10-20 percent.
well, you don't really need to do much... their bodies will do most of the job by growing their winter fur. have you ever noticed when some of the fur comes of your rabbits coat after winter? they are molting, getting rid of the extra 'coat' that kept them warm during winter. and no, you don't need to give them extra food, just make sure their food and water bowls are always full. hope i helped. :)
Not if they don't have adequate food, water, shelter, and warmth. Baby bunnies are very fragile when they're small, and can easily freeze to death in the winter, so they need to be in a warm place in order to survive. This means you have to make sure they get all their needs met in order to survive and grow.
Rabbits spend the winter burrowed underground hibernating.
Rabbits naturally build up a thick fur for the winter and have soft fur pads on their feet, insulating their bodies against the cold so they are well prepared for the lowering temperatures.
Bunny rabbits during the winter have a much harder time eating. They tend to eat whatever they can find that is edible to them, up to and including plain grass and hay.
They Change Color
put sawdust and hay in there box
rabbits and bunnies use their ears to listen to predators.
they change to adapt to the weather around them like bears and bunnies.
bark and buds
Ok wild bunnies have their babies in the spring and winter but in the winter most babies die and thats why you dont see them hoping around all over in the winter. But if your talking pet bunnies they have them year round as long as theres a boy :) My bunnies(i breed) would have them all the time but its not healthy for your bunnies to have them all the time! haha
Poler bears adapts to winter Seals adapt to winter
Bears
In the winter animals may have to adapt themselves to there surroundings
