∙ 15y agoAll customers have needs. They can become agitated when their needs are not met. You nead to qualify the customer. This involves asking many open ended questions. These are questions where the answer will not cost the salesperson the sale. ie "what brings you in to our store today." A closed ended question might be "what color do you like?" Ask "what do you have now?" What do you enjoy about your old model? educate the customer on whats new in the market. Ask "what features they would like on their new product." Decide what product would be good for them. Ask for the sale. Secure the sale and thank the client. A follow up call will turn the angry client into a customer for life, possibly even a friend. Just remember, a customer usually won't be angry if you are listening to them.
