Circe -The external conflict was when Circe transformed Odysseus's men into pigs when he lands on her island. The resolution came with Hermes' help. Odysseus resists Circe's powers and then becomes her lover, living in luxury at her side for a year. Sirens: Scylla and Charybdis -The external conflict was Sirens lured sailors to their death. They would persuade them in and kill them. The resolution was Odysseus made earplugs for his men and had them tie them up.
