Best Answer

Carbon emissions present in atmosphere and presence of glass in a nursery acts in similar manner.

Heat waves from sun towards earth in the form of longer wavelengths and are allowed by glass or carbon emissions to pass through them, but when the heat waves gets reflected or emitted by earth's surface or any surface placed under glass, they are in the form of short wavelengths which are not allowed to pass through the carbon emissions or glass thereby increasing the temperature as they get trapped inside.

The same theory can be used to explain why a car whose all windows are rolled up gets heated more quickly as compared by the car with the windows rolled down.

Does global warming lead to holes in the ozone layert?

Yes, Global warming leads to ozone layer depletion. These two phenomenon are interconnected.

How will ecosystems respond to global warming?

Answer 1By destroying animal habitats and all other systems around them, leaving the others unimpacted. Answer 2An ecosystem is a community of living organisms (plants, animals and microbes) in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment (things like air, water and mineral soil), interacting as a system. The burning of fossil fuels results in emission of green house gases (as carbon dioxide and methane) that lead to global warming.

How removing a large number of trees from forests would lead to gobal warming?

Well plants let out oxygen and inhale carbon so if you remove tree consistently they're no longer taking in carbon and it's being left in the atmosphere and carbon dioxide is a large factor of global warming.

Which factories lead to global warming?

Factories and power plants that burn fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) to generate electricity emit carbon dioxide (CO2) which is causing global warming. Any other factories that use electricity or burn fossil fuel also contribute to the warming of the earth.

Can Global warming lead to flooding in coastal areas?

That can certainly happen.

What does the destruction of the rain forest lead to?

Ozone depletion

Where would global warming lead us if you did not take neccossery steps to prevent it?

It would eventually lead to extinction. It is because global warming can cause other problems like ozone depletion too.

How does burning and the loss if trees can lead to global warming?

Whenever a fossil fuel like wood, coal, oil or natural gas is burnt it releases carbon dioxide that has been stored in the fuel for millions of years. This carbon dioxide adds to the greenhouse gases in the environment that are contributing to global warming.
