Well the carrying capacity is the maximum number of individuals of a particular species that a particular environment can take, then it works to stabilize that population. So adding a limiting factor would stabilize the populations size more.
Some sort of limiting factor will cause the population to fall again
Population density effects population size through many different factors: predation, spread of disease, competition for resources, and parasites. As such, it has a powerful effect on the carrying capacity of an environment.
limiting factors are the resources in the enviorment that help the enviorment carry its carrying capacity without over flowing with animals
Density-dependent limiting factors include competition, predation, parasitism and disease. So this effects populations when populations become crowded and organisms need to compete essentials. When predators and parasites start to kill organisms.
Because of Limiting Factors (environmental factors that prevent a population from increasing). Biotic Limiting Factors = Living organisms; Abiotic Limiting Factors = Nonliving organisms.Other factors include: Death Rate, Birth Rate, Carrying Capacity, Predation
the difference between limiting factor and carrying capacity is the fact that carrying capacity is the population a ecosystem can support over TIME and limiting factor just makes the population stop growing and wont let any more people/animals/ect.. in if the place is packed

As much as the main limiting factors in that ecosystem will allow: it is always a balance between the species production rate, their vital resources and predation. More detailed answer will depend on the species and the ecosystem. Good example are bacterial blooms in oligotrophic waters, which occur as soon as the normally limiting factors disappear (usually one of the nutrients added to the system by some kind of advection), and themselves disappear as soon as the carrying capacity is reached and the nutrients depleted.
Carrying Capacity!! :D (apex)
they cause individuals to dieoff or leave
they cause individuals to dieoff or leave
Limiting factors are very closely tied to carrying capacity. Many kinds of animals can increase in numbers very quickly, and may temporarily exceed the carrying capacity of their habitat. This results in stress, starvation, disease, and parasites.
The carrying capacity effects the interactions with environment just like the limiting factors effect interactions with environment.
Climate, lack of shelter, sicknesses and parasites, food or water as well as the carrying capacity are examples of limiting factors.
