It gathers nutrients to make a copy of its DNA
All newly-formed cells require DNA, so before a cell divides, a copy of DNA is made for each daughter cell. This way, the new cells will function in the same way as the cells that they replace.
Well first the chromosomes are copied (after the chromosomes are copied they are called chromatids), then the nuclear membrane disolves and the chromosomes become rodlike structures. 2nd the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell.3rd The chromatids separate and move to opposite sides of the cell. All of those are basically what a cell does to prepare itself before it seperates.

fertile living things can reproduce itself.
start dividing
The process that follows mitosis in cells is cytokinesis. Cytokinesis is the process of the cell dividing the daughter cell from the original cell before the process starts again.
One that is not dividing or dividing by the process of meiosis.

When the cell is dividing itself.

The busiest phase of the cell cycle is the interphase. That's just the time before the dividing cell enters mitotis. It's basically just preparing itself for cellular division... It gets bigger and makes a copy of it's DNA.
Tickle itself
The phase of the cell cycle in which the nucleus and cell are not dividing is interphase.
start dividing
Chromosomes.
During cell division in plants, a cell wall forms. This is caused by cell plate formation. See links before:
