Remove your Alternator The blower is behind that. There are 3 bolts that you have to remove to get the Alternator off but before you do that you have to loosen the belt I used a bar and pulled down on to force the tensioner up and remove the belt then take your three bolts out of your alternator that holds it in place. Then there are aprox 6 screws that hold the blower motor in remove them. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you start taking things apart. Aprox time to remove and replace 1/2 hour. Good Luck

How do you change the heater core on a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera? or where can I get the Info on replaceing it
Replace blower motor resistor usually located in the duct work or out in engine compartment in ductwork by heater motor.
Could be, heater blower motor has failed. blower motor fuse is burned out. blower motor speed resistor is burned out. blower motor switch is bad. or, if the blower motor works but you have no heat it could be, cooling system is low on coolant. thermostat is stuck open. heater core is plugged. temp blend door actuator is faulty.
No pictures here, but see sources listed in the "Manual" question below. For detailed instructions, see the "Related Question" below for that too...
Check blower motor fuse Check to see if blower motor is getting power
There is no heater fuse, the heater works by having hot coolant run threw a heater core that's inside the dash, then when you turn the heat on, the blower motor blows threw the heater core, sending the hot air inside the vehicle.
if the blower motor still works, somebody probably bypassed the heater core in the past.
