Coniferous or deciduous? Coniferous forests look green,unless there's snow on the trees, then they look like Christmas cards. Deciduous trees loose their leaves or turn brown. The forest would look grey and dead. You can see a long way into a deciduous forest in the winter. You can't do that with coniferous forests. This all refers to forests in the northern hemisphere.

Well if it's a forest, of course there are tress in deciduous forests! Deciduous trees are the ones that change each season, and coniferous/fir trees are the ones that never die that you see in the winter.
