Most of the (northern) constellations we use today were invented in ancient times, especially by the ancient Greeks. More recently, a few were added (to fill the entire surface of the sky with constellations), and the limits between constellations were defined exactly.

There are no constellations in the solar system. They can only be seen from Earth and from the other planets in the Solar System. They can help us learn about the rest of space and the Solar System itself. We can also study stars in the constellations and help us learn about our own star, the Sun.
The 5 common constellations are Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Orion, Cassiopeia, and Canis Major ( Greater Dog ). I'm not sure of my answer, but these constellations are in our SCIENCE subjec.Hope it may help....Thanks
The location of zodiacal constellations, at a fixed time in the evening (or night) depends on the time of the year. It is, therefore, a calendar that may be used to determine appropriate times for sowing crops, getting ready to harvest and so on.
