i downloaded the app GTunes music downloader to download music and Ringtone Maker which you can take a song and cut it for what you want as a ringtone and set it through the app. it works that what i do.

Go to I-tunes then go to the top options and press cut WRONG^(that's probably to move a file) use Audacity (if you can, i know itunes wont let u) to trim parts of a song off or replace with noise/silence.
