Best Answer

Normally, domestic ferrets are kept inside home as pets in a temperature controlled environment of suggested temperatures from 60 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit. They have poorly developed sweat glands, and could possibly suffer from heatstroke leading to death of any temperatures above 80 - 85 degrees Fahrenheit, taking any humidity into account. Ferrets can be acclimated to withstand temperatures up to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. A ferrets body temperature is about 103 degrees, which is lowered they sleep.
